In April, we celebrated Landscape Architecture Month with our second annual exhibition of the NY Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. The exhibition featured a selection of photographs, plans, drawings and sculptures from the 2011 award-winning projects in landscape architecture, design and planning. Ranging from master plans for several of New York City’s parks to an art installation and historical nature walk, the diversity of projects reflected the vital role landscape architecture holds in shaping our environment.
