10th Anniversary Flowers & Design Gala

On Tuesday, April 17, 2007, The Horticultural Society of New York will host the 10th Anniversary of our annual spring gala, Flowers & Design. The gala will take place at an exciting new location, Guastavino’s. Now exclusively a private event space, this New York City interior landmark is situated under the Manhattan end of the 59th Street Bridge. With its soaring granite arches and cathedral-like ceilings, adorned with a canopy of Guastavino tile vaults and a private garden area, it is a unique and dramatic space for Flowers & Design.

Our honorees to date include longtime HSNY Benefactors Harvey and Constance Krueger, Interior Designers Tony Ingrao & Randy Kemper and former Floral Master at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Chris Giftos.

The format of the event will be 7:00pm cocktails followed by 8:30pm dinner. We have a long cocktail period to let our guests revel with us in the 50 floral designs created by the greatest professionals in the world.

Our theme this year will be "The Four Seasons", which is most fitting for this milestone 10th Anniversary event. It is a very exciting time for all of us and what better way to celebrate than with the finest floral, fashion and interior designers from the City and abroad transforming an interior space into a totally magical setting by creating centerpieces reflecting this theme.

Individual Tickets: $650-$1,500; Tables: $6,500-$25,000.
