Our headquarters, designed by Marpillero Pollak Architects, houses our offices, library and exhibition gallery. The Hort is wheelchair accessible and open to the public.

The Hort is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day. Holidays falling on Saturday will generally be observed the previous Friday, those falling on Sunday will generally be observed the following Monday.

Hours & Directions

The Hort is open 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The Gallery is open from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Visit us at 148 West 37th Street, 13th Floor, between Broadway and 7th Avenue. We are a short walk from the B, D, F and V or the N, Q, R and W trains at the 34th Street-Herald Square station, or the 1, 2, 3, 7 or S trains at the 42nd Street-Times Square station.
